Flamenco is the Spanish dance form characterised by hand clapping (palmas), percussive footwork (zapateado), and intricate hand (munecas), arm (braceo), and body movements.

DFA’s artistic director Tracy Hawkes teaches a regular Monday Advanced level Flamenco class for dancers who have a strong level of technique, performance and knowledge.

Beginner’s or Sevillanas workshops can be arranged upon request, whilst Flamenco workshops with visiting Flamenco tutors are held regularly.
